Bio

Chansoo Lee is a professional Korean traditional percussionist specializing in Pungmul and Samulnori. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Korean music and is a recipient of the Presidential Award at the Jeonju Daesaseup National Competition. As a disciple of Samulnori master Lee Kwang Soo, he is deeply committed to preserving traditional Korean percussion. He joined KPAC in 2016 and currently serves as its Director of Education, leading percussion education and performances across the U.S.
